Maria is an undergraduate student of the Princeton Class of 2026 planning to major in Molecular Biology with a certificate in Global Health & Health Policy. She is enthusiastic to investigate the structural biology of parasitic membrane remodeling processes with the Jimah Lab, especially as relating to the advancement of medical treatments for prevalent diseases including malaria. 

Maria was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In her free time on campus, she likes to run, mentor younger students, and talk about books with her friends.
